Not 100% sure what you mean on this question. If your talking about buy in level I would help to know what you know on poker. IE how long have you been playing. Do you study and ect.

Hi Luvepoker, good questions. I do study, currently reading the book - Essential Poker Math. I have the book Jonathan Little's Exelling at No-Limit Holdem and the Course for after that. I currently do not have money yet for PokerTracker to track my hands. I hope to win enough to buy this.

Main question is, where to start with MTT's? Should I start with the $1.65 on ACR, the $.55 or the $.27? I am currently trying to get some money through freerolls.

I know both books. Good choices to start with. You sound like your just starting out. I would not worry about trying to win enough for poker tracker at this point but it is a valuable tool.

Ok this will depend on what you can afford to play with. To be honest the more the better in some ways. I have played all of them and if you can afford to drop say $200.00 I would say playing a mix of all of them would be good. At the $.27 level you will just get some players who go all in just trying to win a double up. Once you get past the 1st few levels it gets better though. The same will happen at the next 2 levels as well but the $1.65 lever its a lot less.

If you dont have a lot of cash or are a really new player to the game start with the $0.27 games. With as little as $50 you can have a nice little starting bankroll. Its a good spot to start with.

If you have $100.00 you have a lot of good options. You can play the $0.27 or the $.55 or a mix of both and be properly bankrolled. At the 0.27 level with 370 buy ins you will have plenty to get though variance and learning the game. AT the 0.55 level you have 181 buy in and also would be well bankrolled. You could do a mix of both and that would be what I would do. You could have 100 buy ins at the 0.55 level and 166 buy ins at the 0.27 level. If you start doing well this way you can move in the 0.55 all the time easily.

How new to the game are you?

I'm not new to game, just didn't play for 5 years and a lot has changed. I'm trying to get back in to it more regularly and want to proper bankroll management this time.

Thanks for the advice and I'll start grinding those tournaments, as think that is the best way to gain a normal bankroll and plan things out. I appreciate the help!

For me 500$ is a reasonable starting bankroll for MTTs, because it allow you to play a mix of 2,2-5,5$ games, which on most sites give a reasonable game selection. With anything less I recommend focusing on either cash games or SnGs. MTTs are complex games, and they also require a lot of time commitment, which is not really compensated, if the top price is only a 2-figure amount, or you alternatively need to beat a huge 1.000+ field to get it. ACR has a lot of SnGs both the normal type and the "on demand" type, and this is, where I would start, if I had a small bankroll.

I would recommend trying all three buy in's and see how you do. Micros would likely be the easiest when stepping into online play.

You need to start with freerolls after the session, work on the game, play at least 10,000 hands, analyze your game and, depending on the results, make further decisions.

in this days Bro, when we got a Twitter, YOutube, Twitch, books, forums, and more more more info about strategy and learning poker tools wee need to have at least 1000 buy ins when we wanna playing a mtt tourneys.

People are learning game theory, strategy, a level of players is higher then 5-10 years ago obviously. So variantion is more and more.

When we get a +1000 buy ins we can play with no stress and play A game.

so in my opinion first play a micro to-urneys is best way to learn a game then step by step go higher and higher
