Oh man I hate it. I like to play them from the beginning and so many times lost my chips to these "rich" last minute regger who don't care and play like crazy.

registro tardio

Hello. I think some tournaments have a very long late registration. but it is because they have to reach the prize that is stipulated in each tournament. the bigger the prize, the longer the late registration. So I don't hate it, I just put up with it, I have no choice

Yes, especially if it means there is a possibility for re-entry. For me re-entry means exactly a REBUY. I hate the algorithms for rebuys. It feels like every time you *think* you have a monster hand, some donk will get you on the river with garbage. And on top of that, no matter how much you bet with your monster, they will call with nothing and get their pay on the river anyway. I have seen this happen too many times. Same goes for moments when suddenly a few players go all-in in a bounty - I just fold... it's a trap.

I much prefer a reg time of two hours or less and recently I've stayed away from anything 3 hours or longer. However, I used to be one of the 'crazy' people who entered with 30-60 minutes left and then I was more aggressive with good hands - you have to be at that point.

Im not a fan, like others are saying the real game starts after the late reg, however during the late reg period, it gives me a chance to slowly build up my stack and give myself a good fighting chance going into the middle stages

Es incommodo pero es parte de la estrategia para recaudar fondos para el apago de preios, lo peor es la cantidad de orates que te encuentras y no es importa lo que hhacen

The tip for this situation is simple. Record missing 30 min or less. Usually what makes you win is the middle / end of the game. I see no reason to go in the beginning.

Long late registration time , if you beleive you can build up more chips time by time it is not matter , you do not know what will happen to you ? may be some good fish or may be some bad fish , win the game require awareness , that is difficult thing , the more long time of late registration the more obstacles will you have , for me i like come up when long registration .

I personally thing the late registration has gone past the point of reasonableness. I understand having one is nice and dont mind a small one but some of the tournaments I have played have closer 4 hours of late registration once you add in the breaks ect and its to much. I have actually played less in recent years due to this. Her poker sites, I have a freaking job. How about throwing in some freeze out or just make the late reg an hour or more preferable 1/2 hour at most. On the negative side some people wont like is the fact that guaranties would be lower but I am OK with that.
I feel you there, a lot of what you say is spot on with my situation. I flat out refuse to play in tourneys that are 4 hours of late registration. Some sites went to only the really late ones. I too stopped playing, just some SNG's.

I don't like tournaments, that are to long in registration. The tournaments last way to long. I think tournaments, at the most have 15 mins registration. Then tournaments wouldn't be so long. There are some tournaments, that are 24 hours late registration. Poker stars 12.5 million. There never should be that long of registration. But they want to make money, so they will do it that way. Like I say it shouldn't matter, about money. They should think of time spent, on playing these tournaments. You can get more tournaments in by, shortening the late registration.

I have never seen a freeroll with 180 minutes late registration. But when it comes to tournaments in general, I also think that 30 minutes is enough for late players. But there is a factor too, many players are winners entering the last minute of the tournament.

Damn I wish most tournaments would only have 1 hr late registration and a 2 entry limit. I’m old school I’d be happy with all tournaments being freeze outs.

I am not a fan of late registration. Intertops is terrible for this. Seems like late registration goes on for 3-4 days, there.

Phil Hellmuth loves late registration. It gives him an opportunity to make a big grand entrance, and get all the attention.

This late registration business started a few years back in tournaments with a guaranteed prize pool and relatively small buy-ins so the sites wouldn't lose their money.
I don't know of any freerolls with LR and if there are any, then it would be total nonsense.

Do I hate late reg

I do hate late reg. 4 hour late reg. Why. These sites gotta suck every dime they can out of people. A hour an a half is all you need. A dollar game doesnt need to last 24 hours. They should clean that up.

Tournaments with several hours of late registration are terrible. If you register early, the tournament takes a long time and if you register at the end, you will probably have few chips to be competitive.
