I find it much easier to keep it in bb’s. I mean live I’m keeping track of how many bigs I have and everyone else and this just simplifies the process. Number of bigs is all that really matters I mean 10 million chips sounds like a lot but if blinds are 5-10m your in trouble.

I have a habit of playing in BB mode for a long time and each increase in the blinds just multiplies them and I know how many chips I have.
The truth is that it gives me more confidence when making decisions.
It is always helpful to know your stack value at the right time

I've been using the BB feature, I've found it easier to think in BB's when betting since I started using it, I'm surprised so many are not using it.

:)

I would say keeping it in BB is what you should get used to - since your strategy will most likely deviate in MTTs based on blinds and stage of the tournament.

Normally I use chips, but occasionally I'll play a game that has hundreds of thousands of chips to start. At these times, I will switch to BB.

I discovered this option on ACR and I don’t get used to it, I prefer to play with chips.

I prefer it to show total chip count, I suppose as a matter of habit.

I keep switching back and forth. At the beginning of the tournament, I usee BB, but as I reach the later stages, I prefer chips.

I'm a fan of the BB view. My hand ranges, shove, reshove, opens, effective stacks etc are all easier decisions if I know the BB's.

One thing to watch for however, is if you build up a big stack early, and I have punted bunch of BB's as I didn't have relative chip counts in mind.

I seem to play better when i see it in bb rather than chips takes the nerves away seems when i see it in chips i tend to shy away from betting when i get low in chips but when I see bb I tend to play my game as the tourney progresses

Oddly enough, I dont like the BB option. Its just seams wrong to me. We play poker with chips and I would rather have it that way.

We also play with Blinds and that is the way I usually set my display so I know when it is time to shove all-in or go home, even in a live game I try and stack my chips in multiples of blinds some times early on it could be stacks of 20 blinds and as they go up I will alter the stack size accordingly or drop the stacks down to 10 blinds or 5 blinds each stack, it also helps me to determine what an all-in from another player might cost me blind wise, I might call an all-in with any 2 cards if it only cost me a fraction of my stack, but if the call would put me under 10 BBs I would reconsider calling, and opt to fold depending on hand strength.
It does take a while to get used to, but find it beneficial to my game, as does playing with a 4 color deck , We all have our own way of playing, but trying new ways could improve your game, I know it has helped me.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

Understanding the relationship between BB and the progress of the game is very important, not doing this is the same as playing blind.

I'm used to play with stack in chips.
I've tried sometimes with BB conversion but I don't like it

I prefer the chip count but at times I do change to the blind totals. It is nice to mix it up.

BB is soooooo much easier....it's one less thing that you have to calculate on the fly. Easiest decision I've had playing.
