You have to make the right decisions possible in each spot, you also have to manage the bubble period well.

It's true that luck plays an important role in freerolls but on the long turn this factor automatically cancels out.

Winning any tournament requires a bit of both . Certainly running good and being lucky in key spots is vital especially in a freeroll where some players have a tendency to be reckless.

Mostly luck I believe because a large portion of people play for fun and probably with every hand they get.. so it’s harder to play strategy wise because some of them will get lucky and get the best possible outcome..

In my opinion, for freerolls there is a lot of luck needed, compared to the other tournaments. That's because of the wider field - thousands of players on all levels. Plus they are often turbo or hyper format.

you need both, you'll need a lot of luck since super turbo games won't give you that much hands to play, you'll need skill too because a lot of experienced players play freerolls so winning won't be that easy

I think that good results in freerolls require both skill and luck. But to be honest, luck is probably more important. Luck will decide the outcome when there are bingo players at your table. We all know that such opponents are very common in freerolls.
