Hey everyone! I’ve been studying a lot—reviewing hands, adjusting ranges, working on my mental game—but lately, it feels like nothing is going my way. I think I’m playing well, but the results just aren’t showing.

When I get a bad run at cashtables, I try to play other limits. If the badbeats still follow me,I take a rest of a few days. Or I play at another provider...

Totally normal, even for solid regs. Focus on volume and decision quality, not short-term results. Downswings test discipline—don’t let them force bad adjustments. Keep studying, trust your process, and let variance sort itself out.

When I go into long runs of losing then I think it's important to not play with money that I can't afford to lose and other than that it's patience until the tide turns in your favour.

When I run out of patience, it's better to just take a break for a long time; I don't want to do it.

Lots of practice and self-improvement, without that you can only rely on luck. Of course it also depends on what you play, MTT or cash game. I would recommend freerolls, if you play a lot, you can easily get to the paid places, and without risking your own money.

Putting time and effort in to something , normaly you wil always get better .
Poker you can play perfectly and still lose , so i just think in the end after you reach some basic poker understanding , the use of extra study becomes more and more limited .
I would advise only keep put this time in pokerstudy if this brings you joy in itself , otherwise i would advise you to put time in other more fun things.
In the end time goes by fast , and poker is activity you can still play when growing old . ]]
I wish you will have a nice win soon !

What exactly is "a long stretch", and what games do you play? Usually the magnitude of variance is vastly underestimated especially in large field MTTs. If you are a tournament player, one solution is to gravitate towards smaller field like even single table SnGs, where its easier to find some small successes. It would help, if you would share your username(s) to the site(s), where you play, so we can see your track record on sharkscope.

Whenever I start to go a while without earning anything, I stop for a few days to cool my head and review some content to adjust my strategy.

I'm in that phase too, I'm playing well, studying well, adjusting my range, but the results never come, I lose against opponents with bad cards, it's frustrating, sometimes you just think that the sites are against you, I'm thinking about taking a break, distracting myself with something else.

I have 1 winning tournament and then I get out of 20 rounds with good cards. I usually get A-A in a lot of cases.I'm already laughing at the cheating system.

If you put in some time and effort, you might also eventually have success in online poker. So far according to Sharkscope you only have 496 games on 888 Poker for an average buyin of $0,37. Thats not much of a track record, especially since a lot of these games are then presumably freerolls. I cant check this, because you did not opt in, but that would be the normal pattern for someone with such a low average buyin. Good luck at the tables :)

I just don't play and do other things.Variance in poker is neither good nor bad. It is normal. It is a fact that all players have to come to terms with. But to prevent variance from eating away at your bankroll and to prevent it from hitting you harder than others, players have come up with several rules to mitigate the impact of variance.
