How many times did you have to play a tournament or how long did it take to win it? but were there any such moments at all?
for 4 years of games, unfortunately, no victory (maximum 3 place in the tournament and even with a small buy-in)

I think I only managed first place in some freerolls so far. 🤔

My best result was 2nd in a tourney with several hundred players for a nice amount.

In general, MTTs have a huge variance and also it depends a lot on the amount of players. It's statistically more probable to finish first in a tourney of 100 players than of 1000.

To finish first, you need to be 'lucky' to not get many bad beats in the important hands.

To finish 3rd is a nice result, so keep trying!

I think if there is not one 1st place in 4 years, then you should study poker means you do not have enough poker skills and you should pull your weaknesses, this is 200% because of this, in 4 years people win the least if you are not fish, of course, then in 4 years you should have at least a decent amount

The amount of time to win MTT depends on the number of players, length of late registration, and blind level structure. I have won MTT with 90 players in about 3 hours and different MTT it took about 8 hours to bink the MTT with over 700 players.

How many MTT have you registered for in 4 hours? I would agree you need look at your short-handed play at FT. How often are you above the Aveage Stack when MTT approaches the money bubble and FT bubble?

I guess it all depends on how much you play and with what intensity. Now I play very little, so in fact there are no victories. But I used to play quite often and on average I win a tournament once every two or three months.

when I just started playing poker and knew practically nothing about the game, except for the combinations that need to be collected, I won 2 tournaments in one month, they were free tickets, it's very strange that for 4 years there was no 1 place, it had to happen, even if you play very badly

4 years is not precise, you should mention how much mtts did you play during those 4 years.
To answer your question, you can find some stats on the internet, it says that a pro-player make ITM around 13%, Final table around 3% , Top 3 around 1.~% and wins the mtt (1st) around 0.70%. An amateur should expect less than that.
If you have enough data please share with us, so we can dig into it a litle deeper.

It's very nice to be the first!) 4 years is definitely a long time, but as mentioned above, it's not entirely clear how many tournaments have actually been played. Put the question differently here, but how many times did you play at the final table and what were the places? If you were second or third, then don't get upset, play and look for your A-game.

When we are talking about multiple tables tournaments, one of the days with a good course in a tournament ends with a first position. When we are talking about a spin, then almost evey day there will be the achievement of the first position.

I have often won prizes in freerolls and tournaments up to $5. Many years ago I rarely played tournaments - it took a lot of time, and the result was almost zero. So I played in SNGs. Now I play more in tournaments, and in SNG for warm-up

I think there may have been bad beats in many cases. Also influenced by mood and ability to play preflop and postflop

I don’t believe you, unless you’re talking about SNGs or very small fields.

Tournament poker is reminiscent of sports - sometimes you need to take first place first, or how do I raise my spirits by playing SNG or spins or cash games
