My first tournament was live, gathered us 9 friends each invested $ 10 and the winner got $ 90, I do not remember where I finished position but I know that I have not finished the tournament as the winner

My first tournament as others have said, i chopped it at final table the final four. I was definately nervous. I was shaking. Now i go to tournaments and always act like it's my first time. I shake now when I shake when i 3bet Jam my K4o against 6 limpers. Sometimes it works. If that doesnt work, then shake when you have KK to 3bet jam against 6 limpers. You got to balance them shakes. It's best to just remain shaking every action. it's better for ranging.

The funny thing about that tourney, I forgot my drivers license and to claim my cash. They wouldn't let me have it so I had to drive back home (1 1/2 hours away) and came back the next day to get it. I was like man, now I am a pro.

The second tourney was a WSOPC re entry event as I parlayed the winnings and was in the second level limp limp raise call call me with my pocket AA i 3 bet, fold fold 4 bet fold fold me 5 bet and the 4 bet jammed his QQ, I call and I was out when Q hit the river. I then I realized i wasn't a pro. This all happened in level 2 of the tourney.

It happens. I love live tourneys. My favorite stuff to do.

aFTER a year of playchips on pokerstars, I played my first online game for 1 buck, 9 str won first. My first Live game was at Binions, 122 ppl, chopped 5th greatest day of my poker life

I finished my first tournament in the third hand, I remember that I played with ollin AA, and one follows me with the TT and the flop comes out naturally T, I think I played $ 1.1 tournament.

I don't recall my first tournament. I know it was live and at Foxwoods. It might have been a SNG. I don't even recall my first cash. So sad but it has been about 10 years for myself.

My FIRST TIME was in Scotland in Aberdeen. Yes, i was very nervous as usuall cause its first time. I was playinga tourney 110 people i guess and i became 9th, top 8 was paid. And guys at the table said i was pretty damn good for the first time playing poker. I was thinking ''man maybe i can start learning and do something about it''

My first online tournament probably was a spin and go at PS, not sure if I won it tho.

I've never played a real life tournament so far at a casino, would be fun to try it out once I get better and got a bankroll.

I still remember my first live tournament. It was at a local casino, $80 buy in, about 30 people, I finished 4th... just made the cash. I sucked out/fished a big hand which is why I was able to. Dealt 6-6, called all the down to river and hit a trip, he flipped 2 pair. I think it got $120 or $160 I don't remember. Havent been back to play live yet but hoping to in the near future. As far as online, its been too long to remember. I used to play at Hollywood Poker, back when they offered real money gaming.

First live bar tournament. First hand ever - pocket AAs. I 2bet the UTG limper, I was MP1, F, villain 6 bets, F, F, F, F, F, F, UTG F, I call. Flop - 7d 3c 10h, I check, Villain shoves, I call. Villain on JJs, Turn J, River A. Ha ha! Ended up 6th out of 36 players.

It was a long time ago, I accidentally got on the PS site. At first I just played conditional chips for my interest. Then, studying the site menu, I also accidentally discovered the opportunity to play tournaments on conditional chips. And when I saw freerolls and won the first cent without a deposit - I was very happy.
