My opinion is they are great for losing money at. You may as well play a slot machine.
A huge part of the game is reading and playing against opponents, that you learn about along the way.
Speed games take that away.

The player pool is small enough that you could have reads/notes on players in a very short amount of time and it also won't take long to know which players are on there regularly (who are the winning players, aggressive 3bet players, etc. etc.).

ALL of the regular players are 4-tabling the ZOOM/ Rush & Cash/ FastForward, etc. tables (except on 888, SNAP you can only 3-table at one buyin limit so on that site you'll find players playing on more than one buyin limit and then playing 4 or even 6 tables.

I have got my mates second PC poker tracker set up now so recorded a few hands. This was an interesting hand. SHOULD have I been a nit and folded when he pushed all in. Three jacks on the board.

Pacific Poker - $0.02 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 102 BB (VPIP: 15.38, PFR: 15.38, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 26)
SB: 52.5 BB
BB: 106.5 BB (VPIP: 11.11, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 9)
Hero (UTG): 46.5 BB
MP: 83.5 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 4)
CO: 93.5 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8:diamond: 8:heart:

Hero raises to 2 BB, MP raises to 7 BB, fold, fold, SB calls 6.5 BB, fold, Hero calls 5 BB

Flop: (22 BB, 3 players) J:diamond: J:club: 7:diamond:
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks

Turn: (22 BB, 3 players) 6:club:
SB checks, Hero checks, MP checks

River: (22 BB, 3 players) J:spade:
SB bets 45.5 BB and is all-in, fold, fold

SB wins 20.5 BB

Bet turn.

I'd strongly recommend playing 100bb stack (with possibility of leaving & re-joining table at 120-125bb's). You're leaving too much $$'s on the table & limiting your play vs. just the type of donks who will always pay you off. (ie. set mining).

Increase on bank to $11.18

Did try the 100 bb buy in but did not like it. I just have not got enough buy-in to play 100bb.

Plus I just love shoving with 40bb and not 3 betting hahahaha

Not that bothered anyway as the software sucks on 888. Still freezing up every so often. Onwards and upwards.

2NL with 5 buy ins in your bankroll is not a great situation to be in, trust me

I believe they changed it to 4 tables a couple of years ago.

Play minimum buy in which is 40bb so can go a bit longer now. Yes 5 buy-ins would not be enough at this level.

In a game to complete missions, I open 4 tables with the minimum required and do push/fold.

Not long to go now. Being playing just on my phone every now again. Still think I have played a few thousand hands. Variance and high rake is killing me. Lost two buys in when very much the favourite until the killer river comes haha.

All good fun, went a bit tilted last time, which hasn't happened to me for years. 2nl hahaha

I’ve played a bit of Snap Poker on 888 at the lowest stakes, mostly just to try it out. It’s definitely fun if you like fast action, but it takes some getting used to. The pace can make it easy to play too many marginal hands if you’re not careful.

At the micros, I’ve noticed a mix of very tight folders and a few players clicking buttons way too fast, so patience still pays off. With a small bankroll like $10, I think it’s fine for short sessions, but bankroll management becomes even more important because variance hits quicker in fast-fold games.

Overall, it’s entertaining, but I wouldn’t grind it seriously unless you’re very comfortable with fast decision-making.

When I could play on 888poker , I tried it some times , cause I like the fast format . But now I can't play . I like 9 max , but last years it's only six max . I had to watch online tables in order to improve my gameplay on 6 max , what hands and ranges to raise in every position , especially in the CO and BU

Been playing off and on with my phone only. Haven't got a clue how many hands I have now played. Bank is now at 8.20

So from today I am going to get a bit better organised. Will only play on my laptop each day, so I can see how many hands I play and whether I am getting lucky or not 😁

Will play 100 hands now every day from now on and see where I go. Will update every three days with a graph as well. Wish me luck, going to need it I reckon. 🤣🤣
