I mean, there is what like 4 people left now? You/Sand/Daze?


Compared to like 3-4 years ago when we were coming up, it's desolate. Use to be like 20 active threads, now like 2

Probably more due to OLP tbh. When I was 18/19, FTP and Stars were both still around. Now, you have to feel like a criminal to play from the states and the money has dried up some. Like, I think Daze said it, but it's not even worth it if you're just getting into poker to even bother online. Very few of us were actually making enough money for it to outweigh the negatives, let alone someone just starting.

I still play like 120+ hours per month live. But it's in god awful games (smallest 1/3 in the country?) so my thread is dead.

Agreed about OLP in the U.S. Not much upside to playing it as a beginner aside from MTTs.

Pretty much, yeah. I see very little reason for a new player, who's 21, not to just go play live instead of online.
