I think I prefer 4Betting.

As played I think it looks fine. Can't see it playing out any other way vs an aggrospewtardfish.

Thanks Logan. I think I'll label anyone below 14/12 as a nit. Currently running 19/17 and I'm pretty tight myself!

i more wanted to get it in v Asx and KsK and other nut flushes. my logic was that given position he shouldn't be super light even given stats and only has QQ/AA/AKss that beat me while AsK makes up 3 combos already. i dunno

It's true he's not folding KsKx but is he really 3bet shoving it vs. your x/r on the turn? Heck, I'm not even convinced he'd bet it when the A hits the turn tbh. AsXx is more interesting, and obviously more combos. He probably has AsKx and AsJx for sure... This is a spot where not knowing his specific 3-bet range is going to kill us. I'll try to crunch some numbers with different ranges later if I remember.

And like we lose to 3 combos of value, maybe 5 or 6 if you in include flopped flushes,

^ yeah thats a new one. pretty sick so i thought id share :)

Been getting crushed lately so I've been 3betting more and tightening up a bit. Psyched I got 1k hands in today and didn't really tilt. I srsly need to start focusing on that.

Might just make it a habit to rate how I played and how well i controlled my tilt (both good and bad) when I go to post hands :) thoughts?

big hands of the night...

Does anyone use Run it Twice on Stars?

Been reading that from ev point of view don´t matter but from variance perspective it decreases, though not sure if legit or FOS.

I mean if really decrease variance why not everyone use it?.

It's the law of large numbers game, which means that "decreasing variance" in this case means you'll be approaching the actual odds when faced with the same situation time and time again because you are replaying the scenario more times.

Say for instance you have AK vs AQ and therefore expect to win 7 out of every 10 times. You may actually only win 4 of out 10 the first 10 times it's run, but as you increase the number of times you run out the boards, you'll approach the 7 out of 10 average.

Too many hands at once Jake, but I'll try. If you ever wanna post me some just throw them into skype though.

66 seems standard, wp.

QQ, flatting the turn doesn't seem bad to me I don't think, but wp too.

86o, fold pre or 3b. Flatting just seems bad. As played pre I raise flop, as played flop, rest is standard.

AKo seems fine.

K9o, not sure why no cbet on that flop, but the rest looks fine.

KJo, I probably just call the river.

AKs, meh not really sure my MW 4b-pot skills aren't so hot.

KJo, I probably just call the river. I did but it just seemed like I could've gotten more value

How about this hand? bet the turn cause we have a ton of equity? if so, what happens if river bricks?

Have him marked as an aggro reg. Cant really seem to figure this guy out.

Appaz I'm the only one who uses MW for multi-way. Will take a look at other hands tomorrow.

JJ hand - I could see betting the turn here as a semi-bluff to push out any equity. Like if he's not holding a club here, which the only 2 he's likely to have are Ac, Tc, then I see him giving up a lot here with like AxK and other top pair hands like KJ because his relative hand strength kinda sucks. Guess it'd just be a b/f though.

97 hand - Not a clue man. I don't see much A2 here, but do we think he's letting go of AJ, AT here. Yeah I'll just stop there lol. I have no idea.

AQ hand - I like the donk here considering he will want to check back a ton of Ax feeling its just too thin for 3 streets of value. Really I think you got the max out of that hand. wp

Scourrge bro you ain't alone. I use it too.

Hands Jake -

1) I miss the Cbet here. The only way I'm planning to bet this flop is if I'm already decided on a double barrel. The problem with shutting down and calling is that you aren't getting the direct odds to hit your outs and you never have implied odds because most of your outs cause him to shut down unless he has better.

2) Check it back IMO, nits don't call two streets to fold the third very often. I'd be tempted to not bother double barreling here. I think when a nit calls that flop this turn does absolutely nothing for your FE.

3) WP.

Can someone please let me know if I'm going ****ing crazy or not? This is fine to jam right?

$25nl Zone on Bovada, completely readless, ESS = $25.

MP opens to 85c, CO calls, BTN calls, SB calls, Hero is in BB with A9ss and calls. Flop is T95ssx, SB checks, and hero bets about 60% pot. It folds to the SB, who calls. Turn is the 8s, and SB check/calls hero's 2/3 pot bet. River Tx and villain leads for about pot (half the remaining stacks), Hero?

Ships it every time.

The only PP he can have here is 88, and that isn't guaranteed. Because he didn't re raise you earlier in the hand his two pair combos that filled up are few if not nonexistant. He can play worse flushes like this and a T+FC.

K good. That was basically what I was thinking and I was mostly neglecting worse FD's anyway just because I'm not sure he gets aggro on the river after playing passively on the turn unless he has the 2nd or 3rd nut flush.

But yeah he had 55... Which has sort of been the story of my life lately, so I just needed to check on that hand, cause it really had me screwed up in the head.

I'm officially not playing 25nl anymore as my roll has dipped well under 15 BI's for it. I'm sure I'll find a way to run half decent at 10nl for the next few thousand hands, re-attempt 25nl and have it fail miserably all over again.
