I realize we don't want to be like 2p2 and completely nuke the newbie/recreational members. And especially the older members should show patience and be more like CC ambassadors. But when they come into threads like this and say the things they say, I find myself suddenly melting into a pile of immature goo that can't manage to type anything better than "This thread is full of win."

I realize you cash geeks don't like to hear about tourney's, but this is less about donkaments and more about LOL strategy, like WVH's favorite CO posting post. But seriously -- how do you argue with someone who thinks it's better to wait until you have 1BB to shove your stack in??? Or that 8bb's with 150 antes is NOT short stacked? Or at least not short stacked enough to open shove AJ??

So. Haterz gonna hate. Dont hate because u just found out where the cool people hang. They only accept me cuz i tried cash and I just suck at it. But Iam ok at tourneys. Plus half of them have me on ignore.

Oh, I really don't care about hanging with the "cool crowd" there are cool members all over the forum, I just actually decided to start taking my cash games more serious, and if God forbid I ever hurt my head and try to make MTTs my focus I would go there to talk MTTs, but prob still come here to say Hi.

Okay monitor question. So I have a 24" monitor, with 1920x1080 resolution. I can tile six tables on it and play very comfortable. Just for fun I'm browsing around newegg to look at some more monitors, and there's a really slick looking 32" with a built in TV-tuner that I found, but it says it also has 1920x1080 resolution. Basically I'm just confused as to what exactly the resolution is - it it the size of the pixel, or is it the number if rows x columns?

1920x1080 is number of pixels, not their size.

size of pixels is expressed in ppi.

ok, just done a 55-hour week of 5 nights, and Ive had a heavy cold all week alongside it. Figure Im gonna stay up all morning(its 9am here now), so wanna play some poker, just for fun/unwind, but dont know what to do:
a)2-tabling $5 rush with shortstacking $2 on each
b)2nl/5nl with stats of 50/50+
c)rush OD $1 mtt, 2-tabling till I hit a final table,
what to do????
