I believe these people were not insulting him, they were trying to help him.

I still have a bankroll I am not broke ..... haha. I did just have to fix my car though and spend 2k on it. Still pursuing my dream and learning every day.

I have shifted to online though. 25NL Zone and 4 tabling 10NL and 5NL. I haven't been to the casino in a while now. Taking a break from it. As soon as i get more income and my car is back up and running I will be back at the card rooms.

Playing poker online about 6-8 hours a day.

So, assuming your BR was still around the 4.3K mark shown on your last graph, lets do some math.

$4.3K(BR) - $2K(Car) = $2.3K(BR) remaining.

Now, I remember in an earlier post and said you pay $1.5K in rent, bills, child support, etc. And it's a new month, so it's likely you had to pay those or will pay them soon.

$2.3K(BR) - $1.5K(Bills) = $800(BR) remaining.

Now you've been playing online @ 300NL and some 200NL, IIRC. Assuming you treat these games like live games and only deposit how much you plan to sit down with, you've probably spent at least $500 on the tables. Also sounds like you've been running bad.

$800(BR) - $500(Online) = $300(BR) remaining.

Still living that dream, huh?

And if you were serious about quitting that $28/hour job and still don't have one, I feel bad for you.

Yeah philthy, the Aaron Soto story went from comical to depressing but I must say the ending was pretty predictable.

I mean he hasn't gone broke though, what you guys on about. Sure hes had a little bit of a set back but hes grinding it back up, hes actually taking the right approach here and playing lower to build up.

Stop hating. Hes doing the right thing.

I would say your weaknesses (in no particular order) are tilt (you not only suffer from loser's tilt, but you're winner's tilt may be far worse), understanding basic concepts (variance, bet sizing, etc.), insufficient bankroll for what you're doing, and greatly overestimating your ability.

Keep chasing that dream.

There is a that old saying when it comes to tournaments: "all you need is a chip and a chair.".

I guess the same can apply to cash games as well?

"All you need is a buy-in and a dream." Though, in Aaron Soto's case, it might be worded differently.

"All you need is a buy-in and focus and to have studied the game long enough to not get bad beat and to not over value TPTK and to not play for too long or you start making mistakes and know when to quit because that's your only weakness in this game."

Guy's. I can get a job WHENEVER I WANT TOO LOL!!!! It's no big deal. I'm like a friggen master of the construction trade. Very skilled carpenter and have connections in the business. A job out here in California, is easy to come by not trying to exaggerate. Especially for a person such as myself who lives a simple life. Now, I do have the money to cover my expenses. You don't need to worry about my expenses LOL.

This is actually my current schedule right now.

9AM-10AM Study (Hand reviews, Reading, Finding any leak and looking for an answer of how to fix it)
10 AM - 12 PM Work (25NL 6 Max)
12 PM - 1 PM Study ( Hand reviews, Growth, Reading )
1 PM - 1:30 PM Break
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM Work (25 NL 6 Max)

4 Hours online in total

7PM-8:30PM study (Prepare for live at the casino, 1-2 No Limit)

9-12PM Play at the casino 1-2 NO LIMIT

5 days a week

Saturday and Sunday are days I will be working on as well.

In all seriousness, you should set up your schedule later. 10-12 and 1-3 excludes the entire west coast and you only run into regs really. You should play online like 4-8, take a break, then play 9-3 live. Doing no favors playing so early

And instead of 2 and a half hours of hand reviews you should just post hands on the forum for analysis. You will get so much more out of it.

+1

You're gonna go in circles doing hand reviews alone. Reviewing with others was/is the single greatest factor in the tiny bit of successful I've had in poker. Believing you can do it all alone is a big mistake imo.

Thank you. Trying to get in contact with "Marginal". If this is for real. He can really help me out. Which would be awesome to continue in my process of trying to make a living playing No Limit Poker.

You can't play for 7+hours online then go to the casino and expect your A-game. This sounds like bankroll suicide to me.
