was about to bitch about how bad I've been running last few days, then this happened:

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is MP with A:diamond: A:spade:
1 fold, Hero calls $2, CO raises to $7, BTN raises to $22, 1 fold, BB raises to $146, Hero raises to $204 all in, 1 fold, BTN raises to $716.17 all in, BB calls $246.86 all in

Flop: ($997.72) 5:spade: 9:heart: A:club: (3 players - 3 are all in)

Turn: ($997.72) 3:club: (3 players - 3 are all in)

River: ($997.72) 3:diamond: (3 players - 3 are all in)

Final Pot: $997.72
BTN shows K:heart: K:spade: (two pair, Kings and Threes)
BB shows K:diamond: K:club: (two pair, Kings and Threes)
Hero shows A:diamond: A:spade: (a full house, Aces full of Threes)
BB wins $188.86
BTN wins $188.86
Hero wins $617.20
(Rake: $2.80)

not that I'm not still down 30 buy-ins in the last few days, but at least it's not 32!

haha forreal though been experimenting with open limping a bit. I think basically that since 95% of open limps from regs are AA to l/r that no one isolates regs near enough when they open limp so I'm going to experiment with open limping a lot of the hands that are either folds or the bottom of my opening range and turning them into limps as well as adding in AA-type hands for balance. The only thing I think I need to work on is balancing l/c ranges obviously l/r range pretty easy to balance if I'm not limping too wide. Just gotta make sure the additional ev I get from the worse hands isn't countered by me trying to balance too much and just killing the amount of value I get with big hands.

It's alright, you just need to balance your limping range.

I balance my range by limping every hand :fisheye:

The money you make from the top of your folding range will not make up for the value you lose not opening AA imo.

Could also make defending 3bets from the HJ and UTG pretty tricky.

Having said that I was the first to moan when you started min opening the button a few years back :p

heh I'll see how it goes, in the short term I think I'm actually making more money by limping AA especially at zoom seems like just a bunch of hudbots so they see open limp think "must iso fish"

although holy **** just realized that with AA I'm making almost 12bb/hand. I thought every time I limp/raised and got the 5.5bb without a flop it was actually better than average expected when apparently it's actually under half as good as average.

i got my first night without homework in 7 weeks tonight

I lived it up by watching breaking bad and going to bed early.

What's my life coming too? Is this how old people live WVH?

Pretty much. Add in random aches brought on by nothing more than sleeping and you'll have being old down pat.

Add in a shared bottle of wine and you've got a typical evening chez moi right there.
