I can’t fold the king pair even after the flop, even if there is an ace on the flop. So, of course, I fail many times. :)
I’ve been playing for a very long time, but heaven I haven’t always learned that a good throw can bring a lot.

i am not talking about a bubble situation in a tournament but in general both in tourneys and cash games but especially in cash games

would you ever fold KK preflop ?

Yes, if i see raise from big stack and reraise allin from big stack, sometimes i can fold Kk. Or of i see raise, allin and reAllin. It is small specter. May be AA there, so kk better fold.

I don't think I would ever fold kings preflop, because they are such a strong hand and dominate every other hand in the game. Especially in cash games, when you can just rebuy, and your main concern is value, I think that folding kings is a big mistake when instead calling an all-in, or at least raising will be far more optimal.

hello.an interesting question.it all depends on the situation, the degree of study of the opponent and the size of the bets.

KK is the second strongest starting hand in Poker. It only loses to AA. If you give up on her, where are you going to go playing? Of course, when it happens, there are several other variants to help you decide:

How much of your stack will it cost?
What stage of the tournament are we at?
How many are coming in with you?
But it takes courage if you want to reach the top!

In a cash game, if I have <200 BB's, then I'm never folding KK.

If I get 5-bet (not all-in) or 6-bet, then I know that I almost have to be behind.

I almost did in a live cash game... $2/$5 blinds. The player under the gun raised to $20. I re-raised to $60 in middle position. After the rest of the table folded, he then immediately went all-in for roughly $200-$300.. I showed my hand to the player next to me in frustration.. I was about 90% sure that I was beaten... However, I still called it. And not surprisingly, the other player did in fact have AA. What would you have done in my position??

sure. There are some situations where folding KK isn't a mistake. For example at a bubble of sattelites or vs a guy who has a 4bet like 1% after a decent sample.

Ha fold pocket Kings?? I would do it in a heartbeat if the situation called for it!. I have have even folded with pocket aces pre-flop. In a big tournament on Bovada where the average stack was maybe 200k to 300k in chips and the biggest stacks were sitting around 1mil in chips, 1st probably had 1.5mil, I folded pocket aces pre-flop when 4 or 5 players kept raising and re-raising each other eventually pushing all in with anywhere from 100k chips to 600k chips. I knew exactly where this hand was going for my table, which was everyone involved in the hand going all in, so I got out of the hand early and laid down my aces without losing more than maybe 10k to 20k in chips. I was a big stack sitting about 1.1mil in chips and the tourney was getting down towards final table (maybe 30 to 40 people left). So why would I risk half or more of my stack so close to final table only to lose to some jerk that jumped all in with pocket dueces only to have him catch the set on the turn. No thank you because I had been in the exact situation in a very similar tourney on Bovada before, going against another big stack, and had my pocket aces go down in flames and was knocked out of the tourney when I could've just sat out and still made final table... Nope! fold em. The double up on chips on top of an already bigger stack would be awesome but I've had that same situation go the wrong way after being in the tourney for 3 to 4 hours and cashing out 30 bucks or some crap... Anyway if the time calls for it lay them down! AA, KK, whatever sometimes it's the right call.

it is almost impossible to fold KK, even if all table goes all-in,

i saw a lot of times once somebody has KK, there is usually player with AA or AK (and 2nd ace is coming on table)...

Actually a lot of people do that. Many people are obsessed with hero folding. Terrible fold in my opinion, you will accasionally fold to aces but most of the times you're folding to worse hand and losing money/tournament chips.

I will never be able to throw out kings on the preflop, even if I hit the pocket aces, there are still chances of winning, but often we will hit the card below us

Never in cash games. In tourneys, I might pocket kings pre-flop in rare ICM situations.
