Well, that's exactly why I said what I said. Respecting the rules leaves the least room for cheating, and I don't think anyone would do that here anyway. This is a nice and fun competition between adult friends.

You certainly noticed that I haven't posted anything yesterday. Couldn't get any decent score in so many sessions. I finally had this one by.. Well, we can't disclose, can we?
I have a feeling this is going to be a lot of fun. Time consuming though .

Sorry if you felt offended, but I assure you that I've never intended to offend anyone.

Last month and this one, during this contest, I've seen many posts getting discarded because they did not abide by the rules clearly stated in the 1st post. Do you think exceptions should be made or tolerated?

As to being afraid of you getting 1st place, this month's contest has just started and there are other members participating. Even predicting who the winner will be is beyond my abilities.
If you want to get "1st place", get to work, be fair to your fellow participants and respect the rules like everyone else.

You're right, we're not competing for thousands or millions of dollars. But the prizes are actually of a less importance than the journey leading to them.
Just read above. We're playing, learning and having fun in a great friendly environment. Get rid of your ego for a while and get your feet wet.

• Members can play a maximum of 5 entries per week - must be posted at least 24 hours apart (so one entry per day, max of 5 entries per week)

I was going to discuss with Tammy regardless as I don't want to see partial to the results at any point, and she was back yesterday after a few days off. She would have made the decision regardless of what anyone said, that your second entry violated this point.

Don't blame anyone else for the fact that your entry was discarded. No one is accusing anyone of cheating - this is supposed to be a fun competition among members but since there is a prize involved, we do need to adhere to the posted rules and all will.

Chris is correct - I made the ruling without looking at the thread, in regards to the 2nd submission. It clearly states there must be 24 hours in between entries. At no time did anyone think you were trying to cheat - it was a simple mistake, no big deal.
