Not sure if it's a bug, but when I got an $8 bonus, I made $1 bets until my balance was over $10. Then I tried to do one $10 spin, but it wouldn't let me, it said the max was $8.
Usually I try $0.50 bets and if I'm getting nothing, I might switch to $1 bets before my bonus runs out. Or I do the opposite, start with $0.50 and switch to $0.25 to get more spins in.
I've probably won 15+ bonuses so far, so I try different things each time and different games.
