How much do you factor in table composition (tourists vs. regs) when choosing a blackjack or poker table — and what's your quick "tell" for spotting a weak game?

I pay attention to several factors. First of all, I always choose rooms for smokers. In addition, I choose a table where there are at least two players already, so I feel more comfortable playing. And thirdly, but no less important, are the limits. I play exclusively within the limits of my bankroll management.
