You liked this online casino, deposited some money, started to play and happen to do good.
Let's say you tripled your money within one week and decided to withdraw the profits. You waited for a while, but nothing happened, so you emailed them, emailed them again and again, no answer.

What could be done? How do you think you could get their attention? Let alone getting your money?

Is this another thread about 888? Just kidding — it seems to come up very often lately. But I think you don’t have much chance of getting your money, since they’re usually based in lawless jurisdictions and have far better lawyers than you can afford.

Maybe they want you to play more until you're broke, "We want our money back! Please forget withdrawals!" 😭🔥

It looks like you've tried everything, but how about calling them out here? Maybe we could storm them with emails demanding them to pay you? 🤔

What if calling only got you to hear "beep-beep-beep"? And no email answering?
But really, I was seriously wondering about that. What could anyone do if a site just stopped responding?

Lawless? They all seem to have a license from some small countries.

And since you mention lawyers, is it even possible to take them to court? And what court would that be? One in the country that issued their license, or could you initiate a lawsuit in your own country?

Those are questions that crossed my mind many times, but I honestly have no clue about the answers.

I guess you're right, but only when it comes to someone who has insignificant funds.
What if you had thousands? And I know that many people do, especially in the big sites.

That’s really frustrating, but unfortunately it happens sometimes with online casinos. The first thing is to make sure you’ve met all withdrawal requirements and completed any verification steps, like confirming your ID or payment method. Keep detailed records of all your interactions; emails, chats, screenshots of deposits, wins, and withdrawal requests, because this documentation will help if you need to escalate. Try reaching the casino through all available support channels, including email, live chat, phone, and even social media. If the casino is licensed, you can contact its regulatory authority, and you might also consider posting on complaint sites like AskGamblers or CasinoMeister to get attention. As a last resort, if you used a credit/debit card or e-wallet, your bank or payment provider may be able to help you recover the funds through a chargeback, especially if you can show you’ve tried to resolve the issue directly with the casino.

Wow Ron! Those are some very important and useful tips.
I wasn't aware of most of them, thank you. Really good to know.
Are you a lawyer or something? ;).

Very good advice! It’s important to know what you can do in case the site doesn’t honor its payments to players! A topic opened here with combined complaints could be sent to social media, complaint platforms, etc.!

In my opinion, if no contacts work, then the chances of getting some money 💰 will be minimal, if any. But a lot of reviews say that they made a deposit, wagered the welcome bonus, won, but there is no way to withdraw. An error occurs at the cash register and then the impasse.
That's it. :(

Had similar experience in one site recently - pretty much i canceled my withdrawal and made sure i would waste it after realizing account verification is needed to get money

It was just 10€ though so who cares.

Almost every site has a some sort of clause in their TOS determining where legal procedures would take place if it would come to that OR if the user has to submit to arbitration.

Good to know.
Thank you Tero. Stupidly, I never bother reading any of their long TAC or anything. But once in a while, when there's some time, one should really read everything. You never know.

Thankfully I have never had a problem withdrawing my winnings. I'm not really sure what I would do in a situation like what you are describing. Probably just keep trying and hope for the best.

If you’ve already tried several emails and aren’t getting any response, here’s what I’d do: double-check you met all the casino's withdrawal requirements (KYC, bonus terms, limits), then contact them up via live chat if available. If that doesn’t work, post your experience on big review sites and gambling forums—sometimes public attention gets things moving, and other players might share useful tips. You could also file a complaint through regulators if the casino has a license. Whatever you do, keep records of everything! Persistence and going public usually help get their attention, but sometimes getting your money can take a bit of patience and extra pressure on their side.

What currency? Do you mean the rake? Or do they have some hidden fees for withdrawals?

If we deposit money on little-known or newly created gambling sites, we naturally risk losing that money. When we deposit money, we take on that risk. If we play on gambling sites where we have previously withdrawn money, the risk of losing it becomes significantly lower. What should you do in the situation you described?
You need to keep your nerves steady :)
You need to play on gambling sites where you have already tested withdrawals and they were successful :)

Ah I see, sorry. The exchange fee.
Just like with paypal. The money transfer between individuals is free. But if you send funds to someone who uses a different currency, their exchange fee is ridiculous! Like if they intend to make up for all the free transfers.

That's actually how it's supposed to be. But even a big site can experience difficulties sometimes. Remember FullTilt for example? Before PS bought it?

The only thing you can count on is integrity. If, for example, you are not paid $100 or $1,000, you can, of course, take legal action, but you will definitely need much more money for lawyers, and whether this makes sense is probably a rhetorical question.
