I know man. The stakes went up now. But I'm sure there are still casinos where you can play for $5 or $10.
Not in Ontario, canada, and nowhere on the Strip in Las Vegas...most tables are at best $15 till about 3:00 pm, then up to $25...for the most part, it starts at $25 Monday through Friday in the daytime, then $50 on the weekends. Too rich for my retirement budget.

I think I would try to use this to my advantage. I wouldn't go around to all the tables behind the dealer, but as soon as I saw him at my table, I would try to use his presence to my financial advantage :)

That sucks. Honestly, I've never been to Vegas. But in Atlantic City, it starts from $5 at all times, except on the weekends when you only still can find one or two $5 tables if you look around.

That's a good approach. Just keep betting the minimum till he comes back.

Follow him to other tables and check. If you win at other tables, then this dealer is lucky for you, and if you lose, then it's just a coincidence.

Knowing myself, I can say that I would not pay attention to the dealer. I usually play focused on myself and my decisions, and whoever the dealer is, for me it is a secondary issue.

Either way. Follow him once and see how it goes. Or just stay where you are hoping he'll come back.

That's totally true. But here we're talking about the eventual case where you notice that you're always winning when someone is dealing. That's not impossible. It happened to me, truly, as I said above.

Yes, you must stick with your lucky dealer and avoid unlucky dealers. The key is to understand when your lucky dealer will stop being lucky and become a neutral or unlucky dealer!

I don't think my luck depends on the dealer, but if it did, then I would definitely take advantage of it. Perhaps when the dealer was at my table, I could raise the stakes.

I would not follow that dealer or wait for them.
Basically it would be a stalking, an obsession, which I don't like.

Definitely. And go back to min-betting when they leave.

Lol. I don't think it would be like an illegal stalking, but if you're not comfortable with the idea, an alternative would be to start betting the minimum till that dealer hopefully comes back 🤪.

If I paid attention to that, then in theory I could use it somehow. But to be honest, I rarely pay attention to the dealer and how lucky I am, I don't think these things are related in any way.

I don't either, but with one particular dealer, it just happened. I have never lost when he was dealing. I'm talking about blackjack. Whenever I was done playing poker, I would look for him at Blackjack tables, if I didn't see him, I just went home.
And ofc, I'm sure it was just random coincidence even though it happened a few times.
