Would you like a casino to be built in your city?

In many cities around the world, casinos have been seen by some as a positive thing; but others highlight their negative aspects.
Do you support their construction in your city, or would you oppose it?

For me personally i would rather oppose to it if
if my city is small or it has already several other casinos already operating.
if people are losing massively due to casino gambling.
if the casinos are recruiting strangers to work rather than local people.

In opening such establishments, I see only advantages for my city. First, it is a great place to spend free time, I would definitely be a regular customer. In addition, it is additional income to the city budget and jobs.

I would be all for opening such establishments. I see their potential for the city's development, and this naturally means additional tax revenues and jobs. If a business is ready to operate, it should be allowed to do so.

The city I live in does not even have a store or street light....I say sure!!! I think there is under 300 people lol That would all change fast and I could wait a year or two for my property to sky rocket then move

It would be foolish to refuse to engage in this type of business in the city. Those who do not develop this area contribute to the growth of underground and illegal establishments. I would fully support the opening and development of such infrastructure in my city.

I would absolutely Love for a Casino to be built in my city or even somewhere within 100 miles of my city. I don't ever see it happening though. I live in the USA in the state of Kentucky. You can play the Lottery , Go to the horse races and bet. The state and tight Butt conservative nature of elected officials, will

never allow a full blown Casino to be built and Take away from the Horse Racing Industry in the state. Ever heard of "Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby"? One of the most famous horse races in the world if not the Most Famous. They bring in the Billions every year with Horse racing. We also have
KeeneLand in Lexington Ky. This is no light weight in the world of Horse Racing.

Now to be fair, there is a "Casino" opened 2 years ago and its with 45 minutes of my home. But, and a big But, They have no Live games! All machines. No Craps , no poker, no BJ, Just get you a bucket full of Quarters or Dollars and Sit there and keep stuffing them in the machines. Thats not a casino as far as i'm concerned. Its a gaming room.

I would visit the place if they ever decide to open up some tables for poker, BJ etc. Until then, I stay away.

Right now , each time I want to play live poker I must travel 100 km and to have a local casino would be nice,
I don't see any negative aspects, as long as the local council doesn't approve the construction in rezidential zones

I support the development of this industry and believe that the positive effects of such establishments far outweigh the negative consequences.

I would agree with you only if the 1st and 3rd reasons turned out to be true. Those are solid reasons.

I would be in favor of opening such establishments. People who are against it simply do not realize the advantages and only think about the negative aspects.

As a gambler, I would definitely be in favour of opening gambling establishments and see only advantages in this, both for myself and for my city.
