AA or KK: Which Do You Prefer? (edit note: previous title was AK or KK, but original post is AA or KK)

Well, I'm quite sure of that ... of course KK. Well, while it's only the second largest pair, it's obviously much better compared to AK. If it comes to an all-in situation preflop and the opponent holds AK, he only has the 3 remaining aces in the deck as outs - every further king helps me and is bad for him. So I take the 2 remaining kings as outs and he practically only plays with one card in his hand.

With KK at least u know where u stand, as for AK, especially off, u almost dont know especially when you pair your hand.

KK is way cooler. AK you could more easily lose value for most flops. KK you probably still have highest pair if no A on flop. But I would take AK suited sometimes.

the preference is KK as long as the table keeps me winning and don't bring an A on the river kkkkkk because there is no point in catching kk and the guy comes and wins with two pair if you say the A who already wins and comes three straight and a flush there is a day that I catch KK and I'm unlucky the guy takes 22 and wins with court

really KK seems to bring a lot of luck to the players I've already gone all-in preflop with KK several times and not all of them I win the times I even lose to 22

As with everything, it is the context that will determine the preference. Late in a tourney a made hand is always preferable, earlier on with multiple active players in a pot, AK may be better to counter the schooling effect.

I prefer KK more than AK. After all, KK is a ready pair, and AK is just the two highest cards, but this does not mean at all that an ace or a king will fall on the board. Therefore, KK is undoubtedly better than AK
