Preflop anybody who is saying they prefer KK over AA is lying through their teeth "no I wouldn't want the absolute best preflop" AA you know where you are at preflop , You know their hand 99/100. After the Flop Happens I still Prefer Aces, Yes aces get cracked but so does every other hand at some point in Time. Its Poker you roll with the punches, If you're aces are getting cracked EVERYTIME...then you are Either A. Playing with a Loose table or B not raising enough preflop to know the range of that persons hand. Time and time again you see people at 1/2 tables just calling or only raising $4 when they have rockets to thus get 3-6 other callers and then get pissed when someone runs into a Flush off of 2-3 suited. We've all more than likely had a run it with picking up Aces being first to act and got smacked trying to get another person in.....that's how you learn. AA all day baby

POKER IS COMPLETELY SITUATIONAL

you should only be thinking about going into the situation with the strongest hand, sure you feel it more when aces are cracked but that is also a risk fo the game, you aren't playing for an emotional high just the best expected outcomes

therefore no one should reasonably chose kings over aces
just like having favorite hands that you always play and cant get away from is a major weakness

It all depends on the proportion of luck. Yesterday I lost with a pair of AA, my opponent with AK was very unpleasant ... And I think the choice is obvious because a pair of aces is always better than a pair of kings!

id rather have aa cause everytime i have kk an ace always seems to come out and i get made as heck but i perfer to get king ten which is one of my favorite hands

AmericanAirlines for sure, many times when I've got Kingkong, the Aces coming out on the flop. After if no ace on the table, you have to bet.
Personally I love to play pockets pairs, especially kk and AA , the strongest pairs.

Stupid question. AA is obviously better than KK. KK beats AA just like any other pair when you are lucky to pull another K or something ridiculuous like a straight or flush.

...And when you have KK and the flop pops up AQQ? The will to chew the cards.

now in the game my AA lost to a pair of KK.
this is a coin. depends on the streets that the dealer will issue. and such a lesion is not uncommon

It's natural, I've also felt that more often than I'd like to admit, because of that and because I think the design is great, I'm staying with my KK.

Also I do not have great appeal to the AA, usually leave to go all-in and stay out of the tournament faster than others, or at least is what I feel.
