Brazilians are crazy but so is every other country I've played with and I found only a few exceptions in each country. JMO
aggression is the name of the game for all players, read a book, or watch a video, that's all they teach.

Your comment is very interesting. I'm very Brazilian and I can identify very well what you said. Not all, but many of my countrymen play more with luck than technique. Most of those who play this way play as an amateur. They take risks all the time. They play aggressively and sometimes randomly. When they are lucky, they can continue in the game.

Defining a player style by your country is extremely dumb.

It's the same as defining by your profile picture or nickname.

When quantity turns into quality, this is about the Brazilian landing in poker.

However I do agree that on pokerstars most of the Brasilians I met through real-money MTTs are playing their games on a high level.

I can't say about them all, but everyone has their own style of play and playing aggressive is always better in my opinion as long as you have a good range and especially playing in position, because there's no point in taking AK at UTG and not knowing how to build a good pot.

I could witness Ukrainians, Romanians, Americans, Germans very good and others horrible, I don't see myself assigning status to them by nationality... that's why we have HUD or our memories!


We in Brazil (not just CC members) need to maintain the level of play that is imposed on us.
On the world stage of online poker (live too) we are on the same level as the Swedes and some Norwegians, always with many top names for many, many years.
Obviously, I'm talking about the pros... where I think almost no one here fits... but I believe that the path of growth is there!
