Poker is a great strategy game, but like most games this is not all it encompasses.
Poker combines strategy and luck. Which is a great combination, as skill can be tossed aside by luck. Making the game so varied and different each time you play. You never walk the same route to the goal. The paths to get there are always different.
Just like in life, luck can make or break a good strategy no matter how skilled the strategist.
Poker is more like a war game. Trying to take the others resource. Trying to remove their name from society. To eradicate them and stand above them.

Of course yes, because if you don't have a strategy on how to play in the long term you are only going to lose money.

Что ж, удача в интеллектуальных играх всегда переменная, но есть причина, по которой существует огромная разница между игроками-любителями и профессиональными игроками.
I agree with you, luck in poker is variable, so it can lead both a weak player and a strong player, but at distances, the difference between an amateur and a professional player will be very visible, and an amateur will lose his chips and money at a distance, while a professional player will only win and increase his chips and money

Yes,i would say its mostly a math game, luck its obviously important when you dont have a lot of volume, but studying can make anyone win a lot of money,it all depends on how much time you spend playing and studying,at least,i hope so XD
i would say:
Ability:0% lol,it does not need any special ability(i guess XD),just knowledge about the game and ''balls'' to take the right decisions even when its unconfortable (if you know that its the right decision based on your studies)
Mental:34%
Strategy:33%
Luck:33%

Yes, poker is often considered a strategy game. Successful players rely on a combination of skill, psychological insight, and strategic decision-making to outplay opponents and maximize their chances of winning.

I would put:
Ability: 35%
Mental: 25%
Strategy: 30%
Luck: 10%.

I put only 15% in luck because I consider that in the long term, luck doesn't exist. If you play a sufficient number of hands and look back at the results, you will define them with your other three attributes. Obviously, if we're talking about a single tournament, the luck factor is much higher.

In my opinion, the most important are the following components:
Patience
Discipline
Persistence
Study
Luck
All of them, in the appropriate proportions, shape our game and our results. It is difficult to talk about the percentage of the importance of each, because they are all important and necessary.

I would put 100% in ability, 100% in mental, 100% in strategy and 400% in luck. Each of the aspects you listed are important and I can tell you that you will never win a serious tournament without at least one of them.

Poker is a game that blends multiple elements, with strategy (40%) playing the most significant role, as skilled players consistently make better decisions. Mental strength (25%) is also crucial, as emotional control and psychological tactics influence outcomes. Ability (20%) covers experience, reading opponents, and mathematical calculations. Finally, luck (15%) plays a role in short-term results, but over the long run, skill and decision-making determine success.

I'd break down poker strategy like this: Ability – 30%, Mental – 25%, Strategy – 35%, Luck – 10%. Skill and strategy are the backbone of long-term success, but mental resilience plays a huge role in handling variance and making the right decisions under pressure. Luck influences short-term results, but over time, skill prevails.
