I think yes I enjoy the game.My first acquaintance with poker happened on social networks where I played for many years on conditional chips just for fun, until I accidentally saw an advertisement for pokerstars and started playing for money !!!

Hi.
Poker is my favorite hobby. I always enjoy the game. Money is just an additional bonus. And if I were a millionaire, I would continue to play poker.
Good luck.

I'm not playing to become a millionaire but I am playing because of the money. Without that there's just no point in my opinion. My goal is to be able to make a living someday just by playing poker so I wouldn't have to work anymore. That dream is the motivation that drives me further and makes me want to improve and study. However, I do love the game itself also and I think that you need to love the game to be able to success in it, no matter what. But all in all it does come down to money and I wouldn't play anymore if the money would be excluded from the game.

Your original question was that would we play if we were already millionaires and I think the answer to that is yes. Because then I would be able to play bigger games with bigger bankroll and keep making some more money.

Wow, I sound like a person who loves nothing but money but in the end I just crave the freedom that comes with it.

Would you still play poker if you were a millionaire?

I would first ask, how many millions do I have? If just one million... which is really not that much money these days, then I would probably stick with touring the WSOPC circuit, playing the WPT, HPT, Rungood and wsop Main Event each year, while also playing 25/50 if I had multiple millions, I would play all those, but also add in a few of the high rollers. I’d play the super high roller bowl, spend some time in Bobby’s room and try to get an invite to Macau.

So I guess that was a long way to answer “yes” to your question.

I would probably play more if I had the financial resources not to work (i.e., retire). I'd spend more time studying, refining my game, etc.

To me, this is a hobby. I'd like it to be as profitable hobby as possible. Realistically I don't expect it to transform in a way I make a living, but it would be wonderful if it could be something that would supplement an otherwise secure retirement.

Poker is great to me because you can be serious about it and play for money and freedom, but I also play because I’m generally an introvert, so playing online or live, I get to enjoy a social outfit. But the ultimate reason I play poker is for the fitness and conditioning and endurance of my mindset and consciousness. Weather I’m winning or losing, the journey of solving my mental inquires at that space-time is everything for me.

I think that I would continue to play further if I won a million)) but the amount of the game would decrease! I would play for fun and not for earnings!

Poker for many is a pleasure, for others it is just a game to make money. I would play poker even if I am a millionaire.

Heck no I play poker to relieve stress after work and have some fun. If I happen to win some money along the way thats great but I know I'm an average poker player at best and getting rich isn't likely going to happen so I don't stress when I lose.

What do you consider Rich? there is no amount of money a true poker player would take to never play again.

The answer to the first question is an answer yes yes yes and yes again. On the second, I would not stop playing, but would spend much less time on it.

Yes, I play and try to win as much as possible in order to receive additional profits from the game, even if I win somewhere and become a millionaire, then I will play further, the excitement goes even more when profit comes and I want more and more, but some moments need to stop so as not to lose everything at once!

No, I play poker because I really like this game, I get the pleasure of playing poker. Money, of course, also plays a big role, but there are other things through which I play poker.

I would play poker more recreationally if I was rich only because there is no true need to play all the time because I would be too busy owning a business or creating passive income. I would maybe play poker on the side as maybe a hobby from time to time but not as much as I do now.
