I have always played online and to be honest, I can't complain about the returns and results.
But I'm in a good emotional, financial and knowledgeable time to go play poker in a casino. I have to face such a challenge and live the experience.
What do you prefer?
How was your first time at the casino?

Live games seem much more fun in terms of interaction, reading people, the atmosphere at the table, even those little rituals. But online is much more convenient, and I can play hands whenever I want. The problem is that I notice how my mindset changes depending on where I'm playing. Live, I play tighter and focus more. Online, I tend to press buttons faster and sometimes blow my stacks, which I wouldn't do in person.

Of course, live poker is much more entertaining, but there is not always time to go to the casino.

I mostly prefer online poker. After getting used to multi-tabling, live poker feels a bit slow and sometimes boring for me. Online fits my rhythm better, more hands, more focus, and better use of time. Live is fun occasionally, but online is my main game.

I feel that live poker is a lot more fun but it takes a lot of effort to get to the casino to play, whereas online is very easily accessable.

Live poker naturally forces good habits, you’re slower, more deliberate, and the social pressure keeps you honest. Online strips all that away, so it’s way easier to slip into autopilot and start clicking without really thinking.

A lot of strong players actually have two different “brains” for poker, a disciplined live one and a trigger-happy online one. The skill gap isn’t strategy, it’s environment.

I like online because it’s just so easy to play with a million poker rooms in my living room. Growing up I loved the poker nights with my buddies and on the odd weekend I’ll hit up the casino for some live play but I just love crushing the online games from home

Live or online, both are important to us as players, but right now I only play online poker, and that serves the purpose.

I like to play online, but I need to be honest and say that I never played with real money in live poker...

I probably would only play live poker if it was a home game with close friends or with close parents.

If you have bills to pay, like most of us, you need a job to pay them. So that decreases the time you can spend to go in a casino to play poker. Online, you don't have to physically go to the casino and you can play from the comfort of your own home. It's just easier and more comfortable. But I'm just a recreational player. I imagine there are a lot of professional players that go to the casino frequently

Definitely online, we can play several tournaments at the same time, resulting in much higher profitability. Live streaming is more about the interaction, the fun.

Live, when we were young we played in private homes, it was a lot of fun, because we looked at each other's faces, we joked about the games, and we regretted when we got lost. On the other hand, it's very quiet online, you just have to be patient, when the time comes you win. For me both ways are good.

Absolutely, and always will be. Live poker will always be the best way to play poker.

I already went to play in person a few times, I really didn't think it was such a good thing, you know? having to leave the house, spending on gas, sometimes waiting to enter a table, more delayed hands, I would say that those are a lot of negative points, but doing it from time to time is not bad, it's a pleasant experience, if you know how to read facial gestures I would say that would help you, in my case I don't, so I prefer to play online

I enjoy both, but for different reasons.
Online poker is hard to beat for volume and convenience — you can play more hands, study spots, and manage your time better. It’s also great for improving fundamentals and discipline.

Live poker, though, is a completely different experience. The atmosphere, physical tells, table talk, and pace all add another layer of strategy. I find myself playing more focused and patient live, whereas online it’s easier to slip into autopilot if you’re not careful.

If I had to choose, I’d say online for learning and consistency, live for enjoyment and unique challenges. Ideally, a mix of both keeps the game fresh.

This depends on the results, the preparatory processes and the sense of self-realization)

The first live game is very impulsive. The first game is realistic, you get used to the situation, the environment and this kind of game.

Live poker is more fun; you have a completely different experience than online. You're always in direct contact with the players, you can see the person and study their moves at all times.

If I could, I would always play live (because it's more fun), but it has many disadvantages, such as not being able to play more than one tournament, not having as many poker variations, and not being as dynamic as online poker.

I only play online. I play at home, in comfortable conditions. Even if a casino were located near my home, I would probably still prefer to play online.

I prefer playing live poker. But being physically present in a location to play in person with other people involves a lot of logistics. So, I have to adapt to playing online.
