Do You See Poker as a Hobby or a Lifestyle?

For me, poker started as a casual hobby—just a couple of games a week with friends, some laughs, and, well… a few more losses than wins 😅. But over time, it became more serious. I started watching videos, analyzing hands, and using words like “range” and “equity” like a pro!

So I’m curious—
Is poker just an occasional fun thing for you?
Or has it become part of your routine, maybe even a lifestyle?

Some players treat poker like going to the gym: discipline, training, and sometimes a little pain (especially for the bankroll 😅).
Others just play when they’re bored or free.

So what about you—weekend warrior or full-time grinder at heart? Can a card game really become a way of life? 🎲

Honestly, I think it depends on the person. For me, poker started as just a fun hobby – something to unwind with after work. But over time, it kind of became a part of my lifestyle. I found myself thinking about hands even when I wasn’t playing 😅

I don’t go full “pro mode” or anything, but I do study, manage my bankroll, and plan my sessions more seriously than a casual player. So I’d say I’m somewhere in the middle.
Curious to hear – has anyone here made that jump from hobby to lifestyle, or vice versa?

I think that for me, as long as a day doesn't go by that I don't visit at least one of my profile sites. Of course, there are profitable days and less profitable days, but I never exceed a certain gaming limit. And yes, I can say that it has become a part of my life.
