As far as I know all sites reveal the hands at showdown.

It's a general rule of poker that you can request to see any hand taken to showdown if you were in the deal (e.g. paid the antes/blinds). Technically any live game would let you do this too, it's just sometimes viewed as BM.

I think showing how letters end up leaving you vulnerable and others end up reading you because of that.

Generally I don't show as I usually have automuck turned on, but I will occasionally show a good hand if I feel that I've played too aggressively and my credibility is dwindling.

99.9% of the time no. Really I can not remember when I have shown my cards but I am sure I must have done it once. I see no point in showing cards.
