When I lived with my parents, they interrupted my poker games a lot, but there was no other option but to adjust to family hours. Now I live with my girlfriend, and if I want to play I just sit on the pc and play.

My family has always been supportive of playing poker. I have been successful and have been able to make extra money playing so I am sure that has a lot to do with the support. It is a lot easier to support when it is going well. If I was a losing player I am sure that support would dwindle and quickly!

My parents did not want me to get hooked onto gambling, despite pretty much my whole family being amazing card players and frequent casino goers. My grandfather taught me a lot of card games involving tricks/trumps. From there, I progressed to playing poker.

They are now cool with me gambling, because they know that I am doing ti responsibly.

i can hide at the moon and the wife will rocket ship to me to disrupt me. I can tell her im playing for a zillion dollars, wife will still kick down the door 50 times. I can be in a fist fight with an alien and wife would just walk to my PC to put it to Sleep. Bruh.

I almost always lose money if a family member says something like "you shouldn't gamble" or "make sure you don't lose everything."

But when a close friend says encouragement I often make a lot of money. Its pathetic how big of an impact it has.
