I always like seeing people’s “weird favorite hands,” because everyone has that one combo they just can’t fold. For me it’s K9 suited. No idea why… it just feels like the kind of hand that suddenly wakes up and makes something happen when you least expect it. Probably costs me more than it should, but I still smile every time I see it.

78 suited is a fun pick though. Nothing beats the feeling of flopping something sneaky with those connector hands. Curious to see what other people say — these threads always show how much personality there is behind the cards we play.

For some reason my favorite is QJ, it is elegant and looks royal and has nice potential to straights. Even it is not that good, it just feels nice and I have to admit I go all in way too often with it. Suited is of course nicer. If I would get a poker tattoo, no aces on my writ, this would be it!
