I don't have a favorite player, I just like to watch some really good poker players get together at the same table. Once upon a time, I would have answered differently, but over time, watching good gameplay wins out.

Right now, if John Monnette, Benny Glazer or David Baker are playing then I'm interested in watching them.

There are a few more folks but those are exceptionally good players that come to mind and I like to see how the table tries to deal with them.

My favorite is Nicky P. Kinda shocked he hasn't been mentioned yet. He's arguably the best live MTT pro right now. Other than him, I like Durr, Phil Ivey, Alex Foxen, and Jason Koon. DNegs is cool too...

Wow, no Doyle? Anyways, I myself have a different favorite from the aforementioned. I've always liked the playing style and persona of Ted Forest. He's a class act, imo. Never involved in any drama or bs and he has done nothing but impress me. Cool rounder.
As far as the newer "legends to be" I like Alex Foxen. He's just bad-ass. Dwan is another obvious fav, especially since I've watched him grow as a player for the past 16 yrs.

Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey. Without a doubt these are two completely different players in way of tactics. But I like the success story of each of them. So in my game I try to act differently at various moments so that my style of play is as confusing as possible for other players.

Daniel Negreanu is at top for me. His way of reading ppl and his way of communication and jokes while playing. It is like he enters under your skin and reads your hand perfectly. I have a feeling If you enter a conversation with him while playing you become open book for him.

I am Canadian so it has to be Daniel Negreanu. He is 1 of the top players in the world and it is amazing when he calls out other players hands and he is correct in what they are holding.

Like many others, I believe that one of the best is Daniel Negreanu. Not that he is my favorite player, I don't have any favorite players at all, but Daniel's achievements really amaze me. In addition, he is always positive and it is nice to see a friendly player in live tournaments.
