don't drink alcohol since few years at all, so it never happens, probably I wouldn't play if i would be drunk anyway, or only some free games.

You don't go to work buzzed or play any sports - in normal circumstances....

I played with some drinks only small buy-in games. It's not good. You must be clear to play efficiently. Don't drink and play poker.

Drunk and poker can never meet, I've tried that too, first I'm brave, then I win and keep winning, then after winning I feel self-confident, then I get greedy, then after all that nice feeling I start losing and drowning and drowning and drowning.

I wouldn't play drunk,but have played lots while drinking there is a difference,playing and having some drinks is fun in the right setting with friends for small stakes,wouldn't even think about it in any real tournament where the buy-in is $300 or more

Yeah you have to take it seriously if you're playing for bigger stakes, beers are fine if you pace yourself and don't forget to eat something... though my best/most profitable sessions have actually been when I was pretty sh!tfaced I'm under no illusions that the alcohol improved my game... I know I was just getting a run of great hands at the time and connecting like crazy every time I tried to make plays with garbage hands like 3-betting preflop on the button with 86 suited and hitting full house. My drunk boasting got the table tilting and they just couldn't help playing massive pots with me and my luck with the cards carried through the session, our table even picked up a few spectators because of all the action.

Yes, drunk you will lose money, that's for sure. The brain works in a completely different way. Drunk is only good at playing the final table where fearlessness is needed
