Online isn’t nearly as bad for lengthy tournaments. At least you can take your device and move around. Live tournaments are a lot more taxing having to be in one spot for a long time

Well, I think this question about the longest marathon in poker can be easily found on the internet! Speaking about me, my longest session was at the dawn of my poker career and lasted just over a day! And as a natural result, I poured into zero!

My maximum online poker session was 8 hours, I just recently started playing poker and perseverance is not my forte. :)

I spend all my free time playing poker. It’s usually over 11 hours every day. I play recreationally. Serious players who play with big stakes analyze the game more deeply and can hardly play at the top level for a long time.

I think that 10 / 12hs is what most of them can put without losing focus ... more than that is already too much, since you have to rest well, eat well and also have some recreational moments ... Also it would not be recommended to me seem to put 12hs 7 days a week, a break one day at least can be very good! Now is in everyone if one wants to put 24 hours x 6 days a week, perfect !!. Just try to keep your sanity :nurse::D:D:D Greetings

Fun Fact: Tombstone is a notorious brothel named the Bird Cage Theatre, the first single game of high stakes poker began which ran for 8 years, 5 months, 3 days. and has gone down in history as the longest poker game ever played.

I think about 12 hours, beyond that might be too much. But if you have a separate job, maybe it would be between 8 and 10 hours.

Hello, time is relative, there are tournaments of more than 10 hours, so you must have a good mental and physical state

I think that the maximum time interval during which you can effectively play online poker is 8 hours. After this time has passed, it all depends on how the game is going. If everything is bad, then the human brain tries to get rid of it as quickly as possible. In general, - king six - allin and sleep.

Hello, I ask the following question: it can be an online game and a live poker.
My question is this: how long can a person play poker, giving the best for the game?

Also ask them what they think about the current tournament formats regarding playtime. They think it's ok or if something needs to be modified. regards

I play until I start to become mentally fatigued. This is usually after 4 or 5 hours of play online. I'll take a break, and if i feel up to it, I'll play some more. I also make sure I do yoga and some meditation before my session, and some form of physical activity during my break. at a live game, about the same. I don't mind sitting out for a few hands while I get a breath of fresh air. Sometimes it's hard to quit on a hot streak, but if I start to even question my judgement, I take a breather for a few minutes.

I think 10-8 hours is the maximum, after that attention is lost and you start thinking worse.

It depends on the situation. I can play with adrenaline for 20 hours, in automatic click mode I fall asleep after 3 hours.

Your brain is not hard wired

Some people play two to five hours per day. The professionals play forty hours per week for their yearly salary. Just depends on ones limit mentally and physically. The grind does not come easy this must be learned by training and playing long hours daily, without this when one becomes tired you just give up and quit. We all have breaking points, you need a daily regime which takes years and years to master. When you are tired and border line fed up take a walk around the house or casino does wonders. Capo1014

I think that more than 12 consecutive hours it is impossible not to start failing in logical plays, fatigue beats you.
