I don't think expecting to win anything is a god way to look at it.

I expect not to lose over the long term, which so far is working well. Expecting things in poker and life, leads to disappointment, and chasing/rushing things! A better way to look at things is to give yourself a realistic target, along with a very achievable timescale. You can always revise the target or timescale if you achieve the goal!

How much do you expect to win playing poker?

I would like to win $1,000 a week. But this is just my wish, which is more like a dream. Currently, I make about $50 a week.

How much do you expect to win playing poker?

I'd like to reach $500-$1K monthly regularly, and maybe a big prize once or twice a year. That would be ideal, but right now I'd need not only more study, but time.
Nowadays I'm happy if I don't have negative terms 😅
