Is it best to play poker on weekends or weekdays?

My favorite evenings for poker are friday's and saturday's evenings when weekend is tomorrow.

Any day of the week is good for me but my favorite day is Sunday because Pokerstars has their best tourneys on that day. The Sunday million and the Sunday storm are both great tourneys.

I think on weekends there are more recreational players so if you play well there's some grind to make but also playing is very volatil i feel things could get out of hand easily with shives all over the place and bad beats.

Depends on the tournament. Weekends have more recreational players, but the tournaments are more “juicy”. But…. Same goes with cash games. I usually get my week worth of tournaments buy in on Friday night and Saturday nights playing $20 NL and $50 NL.

I'd say it depends on what you're looking for. If you want big guaranteed prize pools, like the Sunday Storm on Stars you have to play weekends, especially during series like WCOOP. If you can play during what would be the day time in North America on weekdays the prize pools usually aren't bad, but if you're playing in the evenings you're probably playing against a smaller player pool and might even struggle to find games at a specific buy-in on smaller clients.

I didn't noticed a best period to play, i think it depends on you not on opponents

That is very interesting question btw... I asked some time ago about that. Personally I don't have any preferences when to play. But I still can't figuire out when is the best time to play (when is the best time you can win more money?)
