I actually know a few. 2 of them are really good and 1 is a crusher when she plays, and she could do a lot more if she wanted to. She actually has a wsop circuit final table to her name but has pulled back a lot in recent years due to the "I can't say the word" male players intimidated her or just being rude. Yes, there are a lot of them playing! I play mostly on PokerStars and in every tournament about 25-40% are girls. But you know, it's just great! With a girl who plays poker well on a date, you don't have to go to a restaurant, you can just play heads-up poker. If you know what I mean.

At pokerstars there are tournaments that are limited to girls, but I am against this, as poker is a mental and skill game, and there is no problem for girls to play against men.

As others have said, there are a lot of women who play poker. There are many women's poker groups to try to increase the number of female players. For any women on this site, there are many groups that are active on Facebook such as Pocket Queens, Women's Poker Association, Poker League of Nations, Ladies International Poker Series, and Globetrotting Poker Women.
