One million dollar for a living. Is it enough?

Depends. In most countries you could live 200 years with that money . But in USA or England or some countries like that, no. Imagine you living 60 more years. You need to spend 45$ a day and in 60 years you will run out of money. If you could live on that a day.

Yes, I reckon so. I have no interest in buying anything incredibly expensive so I think that that kind of money would last at least a few decades. It’d give me more time to focus on my hobbies and have more free time.

I'm from the U.S. and winning $1 million in a poker tournament would be incredible! You could buy a really nice house with that kind of money. But, unfortunately, you wouldn't necessarily be "set for life"/never have to work again, unless -- like someone mentioned -- you lived frugally.


If it were me, I'd research & hire a really good investor who would make my money work for me instead!

Personally, for me this will be quite enough.
I know how to effectively use this amount of money to get at least 20-25% of profit per year. Nevertheless, I would continue to play poker and would try to spend more time on training and practice.
