Zach didnt you figure out how many hands a day or week youd have to play at 100nl or 200nl to acheive SNE?

~6k/day at 200nl FR. More realistically something like 8k for 5 days and minimal hands the other days or as an extreme 10k for 4 days. 40k in one day of course works as well .

EV = expected value, the ammount of money a specific play or sequence of plays will make/lose on average over the long run.

Month at the rings so far.

Brag: Keeping close to the pace of hands I want, which puts me in position to hit the 200k vpp milestone with sufficient time off for Thanksgiving/Christmas/time with family/etc. I'll have about 15 days off if I keep up with the ~3k hands/day. Should have a period though next month where I have a little under a week between my 2nd to last and last final where I'm gonna try to put 6-10k hands/day so that should give me some more time off.

Tried 12 tabling out this evening to see how I fair, since it would significally help me to reach my goal, and it went nicely...it helps to play more tightly imo...my graph so far is a bit swingy but I like what I'm doing for my first month at cash games..the recent up swing is my 12 tabling, also I reached 2400 hands for today about 400 more than i need to reach 20k for the week

Well BR permitting, I will hopefully move up to include the likes of 400 and 600nl, so playing a mixture of 200 and 400nl will expedite things a little.

DSVW - I've followed the SNE thread on 2+2 all year and I pretty much know all the pitfalls of going for SNE, plus I think Leatherass has admitted he can see the benefit of going for SNE for some players.

The way I see it, I'm a volume type player, unlike the likes of say Chuck or Vanq, who prefer to play quality over volume. It just suits my style of play I suppose. If you read my blog, I had a trial run at sne last month seeing if I could cope with the volume of hands required while fitting in with my job. So I've had a little taster of what it feels like. I'm still not certain about going for it, SNE will be tough, its a really difficult thing to accomplish, certainly in my position. But I think the gauranteed benefits it offers is certainly a huge draw for me.

Actually he specifically said it's probably a good idea for 98% of players. He said the reason he didn't was he was simply crushing the games so badly that he suffered from having to play lower levels instead of game selecting the higher limits on various sites.

Poopy update!

He's going for an insane prop bet of gaining like 600k VPP's in 2 months and still show a profit!

He's played like 360k hands in like 3 weeks I think, and he's down 99 buy ins at 200nl .

He on pace for volume of hands, but gaining back 100 buy ins is just like never gonna happen. I'm amazed at his optimism though, he's so positive about achieving this!

Still crazy amount of hands your putting in KC, I guess coming from MTT's you can really play for like 3 hours at a time and not get too tired. I can reach 2 hours but most of the time between 1 and 1.5..

Lol yeah it supports a HUD, It's just horrible. Although I emailed the creator of my software and he's working on making it better.

tbh, I think I'm fine without a HUD @ 10nl, but hopefully I get the new update by the time I move up to 25 and 50nl.
