Number of players at tables

Always preferred tables with max number of players because I like to play a tight game. At max tables there is lower range of hands people consider good so it's easier to put players on a hand during the game.

6 max cash game is the best way to learn to play post flop. So I think it's the closest to having less variance allowing for a better and smoother game

I prefer tables with 8 and 9 players. I try to avoid tables with 6 players. The fewer players sitting at the table, the more you have to enter the game with a smaller card and the risk is greater for losing chips and more bluffing is necessary.

I find that online I like 9 seated tables for both tournaments and cash games. 6 max is a different kinds of game that I haven't been able to get my skill level to where I'm comfortable yet.

It's hard to say. I'm a pretty patient player so my style is best suited at a full 9 person table. But if you like action 6 handed or less is better. So i guess it depends on your style of play
