Pocket Aces or Pocket 2's

I hope this posted question is a joke. Anyone who seriously posted that they would rather have pocket 2's instead of pocket Aces, should not be playing poker.

AA Even though those bad beats stand out when it comes to losing to 22...AA comes out on top in the long run.

Maybe that's their thing/rush...it is the luck of the cards more often than not...draws are what makes poker so exciting!

I would rather have pocket aces, but if a A come on flop everyone freezes the bets. If you got pocket 2's and flop a 2, lots of chips to be made then

Aces all the way but I do love getting 22 or similar in the blinds with all limps and hitting the flop with some amazing sauce while they have overpair or say even hit Ace while driving the action. So very satisfying and more so when you river quads to their boat

Your question is not logical, it is obvious that the AA pair will always be preferred, what happens later has nothing to do with it.

It all boils down to chip stacks and where you are in the tourney. I was once on the BB heads up against the other player and had around 90% of the chips and he pushed all-in. I snap called without looking at my hand, Why?
My reasoning was any 2 cards can win and it really does not damage my chip stack that much if I lose, he showed AK off and I turned over a 6/2 off.
He was laughing as we dealt the flop, turn and river but stopped laughing when I spiked the 2 on the river and beat him.
When he asked why I called without looking at my hand I said " if I had looked I would have folded and he would still be in the game, Calling blind took the decision away"

They both have the same number outs, but any other pair will beat the 22. AA is much better of the two.

Pocket 2 if you were playing dueces wild video poker. I would choose aces over 2s anytime higher chance of winning.

I would fold 22 like 97% of the time. Probably if I am very low on my stack I play it. But otherwise it is a garbage hand.
