I think they are like any poker player they just want too win like the rest of us,some people just don't like to loose so they should try to keep their tempers in check because you can't play poker mad this is where mistake's are made,just my opinion

I see more "gamble" than poker out of people from Russia and China as well as Vietnam, although less so of the 3 from Vietnam. Take that for what you will, but the number of bad beats I take typically will come from someone in one of those countries hitting runner runners or chasing gutshots and hitting with 8 high etc.

Stings.... because I just got donked out of a wsop Silk Road event by...you guessed it...A Russian who thought his 8 kicker was good and then 3 outered and paired it on the turn after AI. My whole day was pretty much that, and these beats have come primarily from those players doing those things...so....statement stands!

Hoped to find some stereotypes about Russians here. Found only aggressive style and started to think about my play. As for me - i agree. I like bet and raise but (i'm trying to be objective) i can't say that i'm the only one who raise. There are lots of people not from Russia who play the same way.

Nah for any russian it is never wrong to teach other players some words-phrases you cant find from dictionary

Most Russians play very well and solidly (8 out of 10 players). Some a little more aggressive and some also very tight as in SNG early phase above all. But everyone has the feeling that they have a good game plan for every situation and phase in an MTT or SNG.

Hi, I’m from Russia myself. And I want to say that I am extremely negative towards players from Russia, because in 90% of cases it was they who just started playing poker, they just play boom (at random). Their actions defy logic.
