I thought about getting a tattoo, but after such a story about tattoos, the desire was gone.o_O:)

It is extremely rare for this to happen and I am prone to skin cancer anyway. I have never known anyone else getting it as a result of getting a tattoo. So don't let my story deter you!

Yes, I remember that happening and feeling very sad and worried for you and your lovely tatt!

What are the odds/ratio of that happening to someone again? 0.01% or something ridiculous?! 🤦‍♂️

This thread inspired yet another tattoo-themed thread!

:D

I don't know the odds - I remember having to dig very deep to find any previous cases. Neither my dermatologist (who specializes in skin cancer) nor my surgeon had ever seen it before - but both were aware it can happen.

I know there is another thread somewhere - but I wanted to start my own since my tattoo is so cool. This was my first one ever - it is never too late!

Feel free to add yours in here too!

Debi, that's just wow! It looks amazing! Honestly, I've never thought about getting a tattoo (not just poker tattoos, but basically any tattoo). But I think it's a good decision to get a tattoo of the theme that accompanies you in life. And now you can always pull any ace out of your sleeve. :D;)

It's very good, congratulations on your tattoo, at the moment I don't have one dedicated to poker but I promised, when I win in a significant tournament for me, I will do it so that it will be marked on me forever.

I would love to get a tattoo, it's a pending account, I already have one, but it has nothing to do with this game.

I plan to get a tattoo in the future, but it will probably be my first tattoo and it will probably not be about poker or gambling. However, maybe over time, when I have several tattoos, I will get one related to cards.

Anyone noticed the tattoo in the movie 'Nobody'..? :D

I absolutely LOVE it, such a great touch and in my opinion probably the best poker reference I've seen, in a non-poker-related movie...

Poker-themed tattoos can be divided into 3 groups: images with cards, drawings with suits and pictures with famous players. In the last category, we also include tattoos with iconic scenes or characters from the movie. Many supporters of tattoos endow them with supernatural properties. They are applied as a protection against dark forces - or just to become a little luckier. Among poker players, the percentage of superstitious people is predictably high, which is why tattoos are held in high esteem.

It's quite original and different, it's the first time I've seen someone tattoo poker.

Very nice tattoo, I don't even have a tattoo, and I don't think I'm going to get one someday, I don't like pain.
