I am an asshole. I enjoy being an asshole in both poker and sex, and almost everything else... The issue you describe of parallelism and alignment of sex and poker, is one that could only be personally identified by each individual, since no one else but that individual knows exactly WHY they are doing something...
Take for example going all in on 55 before the flop... now few folks might do it... but yet it is done... and even in that case, if everyone folds, then no one will know what was done.
Kinda like a quickie with the fat girl (or guy) next door!

In some ways I find them to be similar.

I lack discipline, don't use position properly and over play my hands.

On the contrary, they are very different.

At least in poker, I bust and end up disappointed. With sex, I bust and leave someone else disappointed.
