I prefer to hide my hands so I do not pass information to my opponents.

when you use your game often, a bluff is nice when you beat them with a strong card to show it to them so they will not start paying you regularly on a bluff

[QUOTE = Gabinho12345; 3948911]. I usually do not show, because I do not want to give my opponents free information about my side [/ QUOTE]

It's right! Why show your cards? For the sake of boasting, so that everyone knows the power of my hand.

Personally, I think that if you are not in the tournament on the final table when your opponents, like you are focused as much as possible on each action, or do not play Cash, then it makes a big difference whether you open your cards or hide them, because the players are playing a huge number of tables and hardly so focused on the fact that you play and do not play adaptive poker, adjusting to your game, from which you show the cards will be able to extract additional value.

Poker is a game of incomplete information, the one with better information will win in the long run.

So allways muck them.

In Livegames with friends thats a different story...

Muck Muck Muck! Poker is a game of incomplete information. You may think you are giving certain information to a player at showdown that you can use against them later, but more times than not you are giving him and more importantly the entire table information from every point in the hand.

and on a side note, if you called an opponent and he wants to muck, let him. You never know when they have misread there hand and actually have you beat. If the hand is tabled without being killed by the dealer first, you may watch the pot be shipped to your opponent.

Never, in any situations I do not show my cards. Because it's free information for the opponent.

I used to show them but now I had a change of thoughts , I decided never to do that again . Poker is a game of info , sth you reveal for free thinking that it's harmless for your game , it might be an important clue for your villain , so you have misjudged the situation .

This is very important , especially when it come to bluffs , the other , imo , has more info now when to bluff and when not to .

So I have disabled this option , now I feel better :)

Do you usually show your cards when they win without a showdown?

Poker is a game that keeps you informed of opponents, when you show your cards without needing, do you think of setting a trap? does not care? Or does it work for your game?

Bots do not care if you show your cards, nor do I. It matters not what you have won you win the pot. Less information is better. If I folded to you then it's because I have squat.
