the jacks full fold has to be the best. in the top 10 folds video i felt like a lot of the hands were foldable. dwan folding the trips was super good though. I feel like hes so loose that nobody would put him on a monster ever so the other guy bets confidently with 2 pair. the jacks full lay down though, like holy cow. that other guy would make a big raise with many hands worse than that thinking it is the goods. i remember watching it on espn. good times

What makes this fold sooooo amazing is that Laak didn't even have to think before he folded...

It was an insta-fold. Love it

The guys on HSP and PAD give Laak a lot of shit for being an overly tight player. Think this fold had something to do with that at all?

There have been some amazing folds, but Romanello folding that full house was insane! Did it like a boss

Their thought process on him & his uber tight play was already established before this hand was aired.

But, yea, definitely their (opinions) were pretty much confirmed on this hand HaHa

This specific hand just made their thoughts of his play even more real.

HaHa!

He did NOT know what to do when he seen them PF & did NOT want to tango with two established pros. He prob figured they would both call a PF (3bet) raise & then he would be stuck not knowing what to do against them on a wet drawy board. They could have easily out played him ATF & it's obvious he did NOT want to take a risk of losing any chips.

If that is really how & what he was thinking, then I can sort of understand where he's coming from. But, I would never lay pkt aces down there. I'm @ the least 3-betting their butts in that spot & go from there.

Who knows, maybe he went on "instinct" & had a "bad feeling" about the hand in general. People play on "gut instinct" sometimes in certain situations. I, for one, am one of those people.

Although he made a great laydown PF, the results of the hand can't be a factor of why & how he layed those down there. It's sooooo not good to be results oriented.

The AA fold preflop was because he was up 140k after being staked in a game. He just has to get through 40 more hands. It was life changing money for him. Why risk it?

The Jacks full fold probably only happened because it was a live game. I think he picked up on it when he said "don't raise me". Also when he said he would show the hand.
