Would highly suggest checking out training sites like Raise Your Edge if u want to have any chance in being successful in starting from scratch cause it takes years of study and hundreds of thousands of hands to get your game to a high level otherwise.

In poker, it doesn't matter your age, the important thing is that you study and study, learn the techniques and the most important thing is experience, the more you play the better you will get, you will get the hang of the game, learn to read your opponents and with that your gameplay will become Better, like everything in life, it takes time, study and play better and better and the result will definitely arrive.

That's normal! You need to play a lot of poker, keep statistics of your successes. If poker gives you pleasure and brings you money, you should try to participate in big tournaments (by investing real money or trying to get through satellites). The main thing is to devote a lot of time to poker and then you will succeed!

Starting a poker career from scratch at 36 involves a strategic and disciplined approach. Begin by learning the fundamentals through books, online courses, and strategy forums. Practice regularly with free or low-stakes games to build experience and confidence. Set clear goals and establish a bankroll management plan to avoid unnecessary risks. Consider joining a poker community to exchange insights and receive feedback. As you improve, gradually increase your stakes and participate in larger tournaments. Stay patient, continuously study the game, and adapt your strategies based on experience and analysis to ensure steady progress in your poker career.

First of all, study the basics, then some advanced material, bankroll management etc
Then start playing, first on Freeroll and microstakes, continue study and so on

Poker is probably one of the few games where you can start a career at any age, the main thing is to have a desire.

In poker, I don't think age matters, but study, inspiration and bibeiny as many games at low stakes as possible. So good luck, man.

Age doesn't matter, experience is key. I think I've reached the point where I'll try to turn my hobby (poker) into professional gaming.

Be sure to learn about poker sites, and then start playing freerolles. And once you've won there a couple of times, you'll continue with small slots. And if you're good there, the bigger bets may come. And so on.

Just get started. And I recommend starting with freerolls. This is a fairly safe way that will allow you to build your bankroll from scratch without spending any money.

Play freerolls, build a bankroll and get experience playing and observing other players. Read a book about pot odds and Dan Harringtons poker books.
