Texas hold'em or omaha?

Personally I play mostly Texas Hold-em. I am trying to work on my Omaha game as find it to be more exciting. The variance certainly seems to be higher, but also easier to see who understands the game of Omaha from those that do not.

Hello, no limit holdem is the game I like the most.Omaha is exciting but there are many possiblities to be beaten by opponents..Also,most of the freerolls of the poker sites I play in are Texas holdem.

I prefer texas holdem because it is simpler, and it provides more capabilities. I like Omaha too, but it is more complicated because you need 2 of your cards and 3 of the board, so this limitation is cutting action manytimes!

I porefer 7 stud and 7 stud hilo but US sites rarely offer them. ACR has cash games but turnys are far and few between. So Holdem for me as Omaha is too much of a gamblers game. People play ALOT of hands that arent in most books starting hands and with 4 cards more chance of a suckout

For me, the best thing is Texas, but the Omaha format is very good for sharpening the meaning and the way to play, especially win-win turns to act quickly and correctly.

Holdem for me, there is more than enough variance in this version for me . PLO is just too gambly for me, rarely being able to get the money in very far ahead tends to deter me.

I think the player choice will ultimately come down too how much you like to gamble

I prefer texas hold'em, I find omaha very complicated.
I played a few mtts of omaha, I know the rule that you have to use the 2 hole cards with 3 of the 5 on the board. I believe that to play poker for a long time should be more interesting omaha, but it is not my beach.
