I once won $25,000 for 5th place in a big MTT a very long time ago - haven't played poker for a while now but I'm getting back into it.

I've always wanted to play a WSOP event or similar live event but I can't justify risking a lot of money on a tournament since there is so much luck involved in playing a single event.

You should consider satellites for a bigger event. My local casino had a WPT event come around earlier in the year. The buy-in was $1600, but I played in a $250 satellite. I came really close to winning a spot. Got knocked out in 22nd place due to a bad beat on the rive. Top 12 places got in. I was NOT happy !

Had a few 1 to 6 or 7k scores on different pokersites over the years in cash and tournaments,
Lost track of wins with losses terrible at times too if honest but aim to one day beat this one tournament +11k score.:fight:
Dec 06th 2017 won $11,124 in a $109 ko battle royale on pokerstars this will be hard to beat unless I start buying into bigger fields and win or higher than $109 or $215 buy in games which at those limits they are played by the best pros in the world with nothing easy.
