This question and it’s answers makes me laugh in a very nice way.

So, there are several scenarios available here. The one I prefer is that this very beautiful woman has just noticed the love of her life and is very determined to make an impression and to gain the affections of that person, ie on this occasion , ME.

So, what do I do. I play it cool at first, assessing whether I think there is ANY advantage to me of engaging or responding to the flirting.

If I consider that I too can make an advantage over the other players, maybe by introducing frustration to them or to get them to focus on our mutual flirting rather than their own game, then I am in 100%. It doesn’t matter whether I am married or engaged or in a long-standing relationship or not interested in women, I will use it to MY advantage. My engagement in the flirting will need to be controlled and manufactured to provide the maximum benefit to ME.

Also, I have no real interest if I am married or engaged or in a long term relationship, but if not, then if the opportunity arises to develop ad meaningful relationship with this beautiful lady, then we are both winners, regardless of the table outcome.

As for bars being there for women to flirt with men....that is soooooooo 1980.

As for focusing just on your game and rejecting the flirting, ....come on guys...you know you’d fall for it.

Ladies...you are correct. Men do often mistake friendly chat for flirting, but also women also often mistake flirting for friendly chat. It’s a crazy old world and we all have to make the most of any situation that presents itself to us with maximum respect for the others involved in that situation.

You trap her... give her some rope & hope she continues to fire. (why do you want to raise all-in?). You knock her out like anyone else. With her chips you go on to win the tournament. She watches from the rail in hopes of you taking down the tournament & when you make it to Heads UP she passes you a note telling you, "No need for Hookers & Blow tonight! You take this thing down... I've got an 8-ball in my purse!"

I highly doubt that women poker players spend $1000's of dollars in tournament entry fees on the hope of picking up a guy, even in 2021 bars make more sense, there are no entry fees.

For all of those that relish in the idea that a women was flirting with them, don't forget about STD's, think with the large head, not the small one, if you're that desperate to hook up with someone, try your own hand, it's always loyal and very unlikely to have an STD.
