All hands are the same to me,Not bad or good cards are important, it is important to be able to play with bad ones. What is important is not what cards you actually have, but what they are in the opinion of the enemy. So no favorite hand or no favorite, this is poker!

I hate Aces. The best starting hand in the game can so easily be broken by a set of twos. Ace King is also awful because you're an idiot if you don't bet with it in most situations but it'll still miss the flop 2/3 of the time. In general I hate the mathematically good decisions that have such a high chance of being broken.

One expects to win with pocket aces, and to a lesser degree, pocket kings. That is what makes it hurt more when they get cracked. I expect that in freeroll tournaments and small stakes online, but it kills me when a player stays in the hand with 6, 8 offsuit, then hits the straight or flush on the river in a live $2/5 game. Pocket aces usually gets you a small win or a big loss...must play them aggressively. Yes, I win the majority of hands with AA or KK, but if you take the dollar value, I am probably a big loser with those hands. It kills me to win the blinds with them, then lose a $300 pot the next time.

Played the $100 Freeroll on PS the other day. I had pocket 9s and put in a 3 x BB bet that got 3 callers.
I hit a 9 on the flop and thought I’ve got to be ahead. Fairly low bet to get some value, got one caller. Decided to shove after a good turn for me, call.

He had 8,6 off. The flop was 9,7,5!

Didn’t mind losing as I think I made the right play. But why the hell would someone call a pre-flop bet with 8,6 off?? Or should I have bet bigger?

As for the question. AK is my least favourite ‘good’ hand. Hardly ever holds up.

For me, the least favorite hand is AJ, which is easy to overestimate and difficult to fold it in different situations. I often call a 3-bet with this hand and often lose.

I would say my personal least favorite used to be AQ because I had a hard time putting it down and its a trap-hand for small stacks late in tournaments when RNGs appear to trim the crowd. But if I was going to be objective, its 72o because it is.

My least favorite good hand is KK. I have to feel I am cursed. If I get all in preflop with this hand, I lose more than 60%. I would not mind as much if I am losing to an Ace, but its always some ridiculous draw out to a flush, straight or other weird hand.

My least favorite time was at the local casino and I had KK and got all in against a guy with JJ. He not only hit a J on the flop, but then hit another J on the river causing him to jump around yelling yahtzee. Then he got an additional prize for a high hand promotion.

I still play it.

QQ is always bad news for me. Usually AK will be involved and of course, they hit. It's just bad luck with that one. Though it's probably true that if we actually kept track of these hands, they wouldn't be as bad as we perceive them to be.

I often have problems with my hands A2 - A9. With such cards you usually need to raise, but if there are no matches on the flop, then I’m starting to get nervous😎

For me would have to be AK Every time it goes in preflop I'm against a small pair and never get there or if it's deeper I 3 bet get called and completely brick. Vice versa I have QQ and they have AK there's always an ace on the flop
